Policies & Returns


  • We make every effort display our products as accurately as possible. Actual colors may vary as all screens display color a little differently. Because of camera lens distortion and display screen resolution or size, photos are not representative of actual size. Some photos are enlarged to show details, and some appear very small in order to show an entire item in the picture. It is your responsibility to review the provided dimensions for size and weight of each piece and not rely on photographs for size when determining your purchase.
  • You must provide a valid email and address to order online.  We cannot process returns without the proper contact information.
  • Items in your shopping bag will remain for 24 hours.  If you do not check out within 24 hours, the items will become available to other customers.  
  • Checkout involves 3 steps:  Shopping Bag review, Shipping / billing address, and Payment. 
  • Once we have received your order, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email is not an order confirmation but a notification that we have received your requested order. 
  • ALL ORDERS ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. We make every effort to feature only in-stock items.  Occasionally we may sell out of featured items.   If we are unable to complete your order, you will be notified via email within 5 business days and will not be charged.


  • Online Boutique Orders: We currently accept payments online via Paypal. Paypal accepts credit/debit cards even if you do not have a paypal account.
  • Arts Festivals and Private Events: Credit/Debit Cards and Cash accepted.
  • Private Commisions: Credit/Debit Cards, Checks or Cash accepted.


  • Customers in Pennsylvania are subject to 7% sales tax (6% PA, 1% Allegheny County).  Sales tax will be added to your order at checkout.


  • Free shipping on all online boutique orders - 3-5 day delivery from shipping date. Faster shipping speeds are available for additional cost by request.
  • For items in stock, orders will be shipped 2-7 days after confirmation of payment, by your chosen shipping method/speed. 
  • For FedEx Overnight, orders received by 3pm EST will ship that day.
  • Preorder items will be shipped 2-7 days from their availablity date.
  • You will receive an email when your item ships.  You may inquire as to the estimated shipping date.
  • We are not currently offering international orders or shipments.  
  • We do not ship on Saturday or Sunday.
  • Items over $200 will be shipped with adult signature required. Higher value items may require direct customer signature.
  • LSJA is not responsible for stolen packages. We are responsible for items only up to confirmed delivery to customer address. Customer is responsible for the package once delivered to address.
  • LSJA is not responsible for items shipped to an incorrect or undeliverable address provided by customer.


  • Orders can be modified or cancelled within 24 hours via request, as long as the items have not yet been shipped. 
  • Custom orders are subject to a cancellation fee. 
  • We reserve the right to decline orders for payment rejection, shipping restrictions, or items out of stock. 
  • INCORRECT ADDRESS: If you provided the wrong shipping address on your order, please contact us immediately. Please email us at and include your order #, incorrect address, and new address. Corrections cannot be made once the order has shipped. Customer is responsible for items shipped to wrong address, and re-shipping in the event of checkout address error.


  • We do not offer direct exchanges. You can purchase a new item from our store after returning an unwanted item.
  • If you are unhappy with a regularly priced item that you have purchased from our online boutique, and wish to return it, please email us at, or complete the online return form, within 3 days of receipt for an RA number.
  • Please refer to our website for Holiday return exceptions.
  • Item must be received in original packaging and in perfect, unworn condition, within 7 days after the RA# is issued.
  • A gift voucher for our online boutique will be issued for items received after 7 days.
  • Returns will not be accepted after 20 days.
  • Shipping costs are not refundable. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Refunds will be credited to your purchase payment source within 10 days of our receipt and inspection of the returned item.
  • We reserve the right to reject a return for any reason, including damage, missing pieces, wear, late returns, etc.
  • Custom items, discounted items, and others as specified, are not returnable, unless defective.
  • Please note that pierced earrings where the posts or earwires are permanently attached cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene and safety. Earrings that have replaceable earwires can be returned less a 10% restocking fee.
Request Return


  • Purchases from participating retailers: Items purchased through any of our participating retailers must be returned to the store from where the purchase was made and are subject to the retailer's policies for Returns/Repairs/Exchanges.
  • Private Events, Arts Festivals: If you are unhappy with a regularly priced item that you have purchased from us at a private event or recent arts festival, you may return it within 7 days of purchase with the original packaging and in perfect, unworn condition, for a gift voucher/credit on our online store.  The voucher will be issued upon our receipt and inspection of the returned item.  Shipping costs are not refundable.


  • Items will not be accepted without an RA number.  To receive an Return Authorization Number,  email us at or contact us via our website.
  • RA#s must be requested within 3 days of delivery to customer.
  • For your protection, please ensure that the item is adequately packaged, and include insurance for the full purchase amount.  We are not responsible for items that are lost or damaged during transit to our studio.
  • Shipping and insurance costs are not refundable.
  • Please review our policies below regarding accepted returns, exchanges or repairs.

Holiday Policies

  • Returns: Regularly priced items purchased between November 20 - December 20th are eligible for an extended return period, less a restocking fee. Return requests received by Dec. 28 would have a 10% restocking fee. Return requests received by Jan 5th would receive store credit less a 20% restocking fee. Holiday returns are not accepted after Jan 5th. Items can be returned within our regular return period for no restocking fee.
  • Shipping: In months with major holidays, packages may be delayed due to shipping volumes as well as increased sales fulfillment. Please request expedited shipping if the delivery date is critical. We do not refund orders for late delivery.


  • We don't offer direct exchanges. If you'd like to exchange an item, please refer to our return policies. After your return, you can place a new order online through our website at your convenience.

Wrong Item

  • If we sent you the wrong item, please let us know within 2 days after receipt, and we will send you return-shipping instructions, and a pre-paid shipping label.
  • Item must be returned before the correct item can be sent.

Shipping Damage

  • We take extra care in packaging so that your collection arrives safely. However, if your items are damaged during shipping, we will work with you to refund or replace the items.
  • Do not discard the box and/or packaging. The carrier needs to inspect the box and packaging to determine liability.
  • Please email us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number, description of the damage, along with photos of the damaged packaging and items to
  • We will send you instructions for how to proceed.


  • We stand behind our quality and dedication and are happy to provide repairs on items for breakage or damage caused by defects in craftsmanship or materials, free of charge for 6 months from the date of purchase.  If the item cannot be repaired, a comparable item exchange or store credit can be issued.
  • Please review our care instructions for proper cleaning, storage, and use.
  • Lost items are not covered.
  • Normal expected wear is not covered.
  • Any modifications or repairs made by another jeweler, individual, or company, voids warranty.
  • Maintenance inconsistent with the provided care instructions voids warranty.
  • Damage resulting from mishandling, atypical use, or abuse, voids warranty.


  • Polishing service is available for jewelry items for a $40 fee plus shipping.  Allow 2 to 3 weeks for polishing. 
  • Jewelry items priced above $500 qualify for free polishing for the first year after purchase.


  • Please contact us about repair requests.
  • Repairs typically require 4-6 weeks.


  • Please note that pierced earrings, and earrings where the earwire cannot be replaced, cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene and saftey.
  • For a lost earring replacement, contact us to see if replacement is possible.
  • One-of-a-kind designs most likely cannot be replaced. We might be able to make the remaining earring into a pendant for you!
  • In-stock replacements are 60% the current regular price of the full pair of earrings plus shipping. 
  • If we need to make a new replacement, we will provide an estimated cost after review.
  • We recommended that you ship the remaining earring to us to ensure the best possible match.
  • Earring replacements typically require 4-6 weeks.

Wholesale and Consignment

  • We offer wholesale accounts to select retailers. Please contact us for more information.
  • We do not participate in consignment arrangements at this time.
